On the Feast of the Life Giving Spring of the Theotokos in the Convent Church of the Theotokos, April 19th, (May 2nd ns), 2008, unity in the Holy Spirit, Confession of Faith and Ecclessiology was celebrated by Metropolitan Kirykos of Mesogaias and Lavreotikis, Metropolitan Kassianos of Moldavia and Bishop Gerontios of Vrancea with the Divine Liturgy and then the signing of the Act of Unity. This joyful event, a very rare occurrence in our day, was the product of deep prayerful and canonical consideration. This unity brings together clergy, (some 10 of whom were present), and faithful from local groups of Genuine Orthodox Christians from Greece, Romania, Cyprus, Russia, Kenya and Canada.
