Laymen Travel from Cyprus to Greece to Protest Metropolitan Nicholas' Consecrations of bishops for Cyprus

Several laymen protested the consecration of Archimandrite Sevastianos Epiphaniou the nephew of the late Metropolitan Epiphaniou of Kitiou. Cypriate laymen traveled to Greece and yelled ANAXIOS, while holding signs saying the same and  protested.  All of this was ignored by Metropolitan Nicholas as he continued with the consecration, but not before calling the police to arrest the Cypriots that were protesting.

[Note: Because the Orthodox Church in Cyprus is self governing it always chooses its own bishop. This is the rule whether or not there are any existing bishops in Cyprus, in which case the clergy and laity choose the candidate and send him to be consecrated.]
